SYNOPSIS: Winner of the Peabody Award in April 2018, this documentary follows Fatma Naib, a woman of Eritriean descent that grew up in Sweden, as she traces the origins and beliefs associated Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). Using her own personal perspective, Fatma explores the societal implications that revolve around FGM and what it will take to deter people away from this dangerous, painful and sometimes deadly practice.
