In the heart of Ouagadougou is a granite quarry where nearly 2,500 people, adults and children, work in drastic conditions, on the fringe of a society pretending not to see them. But in 2014, revolution passed by-and-by with a new wind of emancipation and hope, a certain boldness…The miners are now dreaming of a better future by breaking out of the grip of middlemen and selling directly the fruits of their labor.
